Helping PE firms find their next acquisition target

ExitConnections began by solely introducing business owners to sell-side M&A advisors. However, we are increasingly partnering with frequent acquirers, such as PE firms, to source, contact, and schedule meetings with business owners looking to sell their companies for $1 million to $200 million within the next 18 months.

We are always open to partnering with new clients, provided their mandates do not overlap with those of our existing clients, such as sell-side M&A advisors, other PE firms, holding companies, or corporate development teams.

We don’t charge any upfront fees or retainers. Instead, you only pay a flat fee of $450 per meeting/call with a qualified business owner (only if they show up), plus a final success fee of 1.5% of the total transaction value for proprietary deals and 0.5% for deals that involve a sell-side advisor. 

We firmly believe that this win-win arrangement is the fairest way for us to be compensated for our hard work and the only one that eliminates most, if not all, of the potential conflicts of interest that may arise.

At ExitConnections, we prioritize regulatory compliance and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in all our services. Our operations are structured to exempt us from the requirement to register as a broker-dealer with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Our activities are confined to introducing business owners to service providers and/or potential acquirers, including M&A advisors, investment banks, private equity firms, and corporations. Importantly, we do not engage in negotiating or facilitating securities transactions on behalf of our clients. As such, we operate under the "finder’s exception" to broker-dealer registration requirements. This exception permits us to offer introductory services without broker-dealer registration, provided we comply with specific conditions, including not possessing the authority to bind parties to a transaction, not providing transaction financing, and not assisting in the formation of buyer groups.
